Mercy Table is committed to partnering with others to engage our community and deepen our involvement in the places we call home. At Mercy Table “We Build Community,” with hospitality, exchanging poverty for opportunity, and empowering families to participate in their life in order to improve their circumstances.
Our C.O.R.E. Services: Community Engagement, Outreach, Resources, and Education remove roadblocks for families beginning with a hot meal. Our volunteers look forward to serving our community and actively listening to the personal stories shared that only happens when gathered around a table. No paperwork is required. Product is assigned a number. People have names.
Mercy Table offers many opportunities to volunteer as a family. Children watch everything we do. By giving back to the community your children and grandchildren learn firsthand how volunteering makes a difference by helping people get from one side of the table to the other. It’s also a valuable way to learn about other organizations in the community, available resources, and activities for you and your family to participate in.
